Our staff will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco around 13:45 that will take you to our bus and start your tour around Cusco and its surroundings. We will visit the following archaeological and religious attractions of the Inca culture:
Qoricancha Temple and Santo Domingo Convent. This is a religious center known as “Temple of the Sun”, actually, it was the most important temple in the Inca Times. What stands out here is the impressive engineering that was used in its construction, and the paintings of the Cusco school housed in the interior.
Cathedral. This is a colonial and religious monument of extraordinary artistic value; A variety of artistic works are found there.
Sacsayhuaman It is 3 km away. outside of Cusco. It is an impressive fortress of excellent architecture; It is famous for its construction based on rocks. Some of these rocks are about 9 m (30 ft) tall and weigh more than 350 tons. Sacsayhuaman is the place where the “Inti Raymi” (Fiesta del Sol) is celebrated every June 24th.
Qenqo. (Zig Zag), during the incanato this place was a temple to carry out various ceremonies in the presence of their idols and mummies.
